Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to bring my medical aid card?

Yes, please bring your medical aid card and a valid form of ID to every appointment. This ensures we can process your claim accurately and without delays.

What if my medical aid does not cover the full consultation fee?

If there is a co-payment or shortfall between our consultation fee and your medical aid rate, you will be responsible for the difference. We will inform you of any expected shortfall before your consultation where possible.

Can I claim from my medical aid for IV therapy or wellness services?

This depends on your specific plan and available benefits. Some plans cover IV therapy under chronic or acute benefits. We recommend checking with your medical aid prior to your appointment. We will provide a detailed invoice with the appropriate ICD-10 and billing codes for your claim.

Do you offer payment plans for cash patients?

We understand that healthcare costs can be a concern. Please speak to our reception team to discuss your situation — we will do our best to accommodate you.

My medical aid is not on the list. Can I still be seen?

Yes. We accept most medical aids. If yours is not listed, please contact us before your appointment and we will confirm whether we can process your claim directly. Cash patients are always welcome regardless of medical aid status.

How do I get a receipt or invoice for my medical aid claim?

A detailed tax invoice with all required billing codes will be provided after every consultation. You can use this to submit a manual claim to your medical aid if required.

Still Have Questions?

Our reception team is happy to help you confirm your medical aid cover and answer any billing questions before your appointment.
